Stitchclub began life in London, UK in 2006 with just one sewing class, 8 pupils and big dreams of teaching kids to sew in a cool, fun and contemporary way!
Soon word spread about our super-cool sewing programme and fantastic illustrated workbooks and with thousands of requests for Stitchclub classes from all over the world, Stitchclub now supplies its fantastic, tried and tested Stitchclub Sewing Curriculum TM to schools, shops and individuals in the UK, Australia, NZ, USA and beyond !
We want to make it SEW EASY for you to teach kids to sew and run a sewing club at your school, club or local sewing store .

What ages are your workbooks suitable for?
We suggest ages 8 and over, but experienced teachers may feel confident teaching from age 7. Our books are also ideal for introducing sewing skills to teens with no previous sewing experience, and/or pupils with learning difficulties. Each project can be tailored to the skill level of your pupils i.e with a cushion project, the more capable children will add much more detailed appliqué and beading, whereas a young beginner may opt for a simple shape or animal design.
Can I request a sample of a workbook before I decide?
Sorry, but due to copyright and the potential for photocopying, we cannot send out samples of workbooks. However, we’ve added plenty of images to the site to show you the quality of the illustrations, instructions and patterns in our books, plus detailed lists of what skills, stitches, projects and patterns each workbook contains. You won’t be disappointed in the quality and user-friendliness of our books!
Can anyone buy these packs and books?
These budget packages are intended for use in schools and sewing education workshops, however we’re also happy to supply to home-schoolers or those wishing to put together their own sewing group. However, if your school or store is in one of the 13 small postcode areas of the UK that is protected for the local franchisee then we may be unable to supply you with certain packages. If that’s the case, we’ll contact you when we receive your order.
I run a Sewing / Fabric/Ceramic café Store . Can I use your workbooks to run kids sewing classes?
Absolutely. Our packages are incredibly popular with so many fabric stores or creative workshops that are keen to add Kids Sewing Classes to their offerings. Our posters, packs and workbooks give your courses the professional edge and make it super easy to know what and how to teach these sewing workshops.
I Home -School My Children – are these packs and books suitable for us?
Definitely. We get approached by lots of home school groups who wish to use our great resources to run a fun sewing club activity for their local home school group.
Can I Buy The Books Individually?
Our books and packs are all based on multiples of 10 as most sewing clubs will have around 8 pupils, allowing for a teacher and spare book. We are unable to break up packs into smaller quantities.
Do You Ship These Packages Worldwide?
Yes we do. Please check the DELIVERY section of the Online Supplies Store for shipping info and prices. All books are in English.
We are a school and cannot pay by credit card. Can we order using a Purchase Order and you invoice us?
